0. Conventions géométriques et de phase
Les noyaux sont placés sur l’axe \(z\), aux positions
\[ z_A=-\frac R2,\qquad z_B=+\frac R2. \]Pour un point électronique \((x,y,z)\),
\[ r_A=\sqrt{x^2+y^2+\left(z+\frac R2\right)^2}, \qquad r_B=\sqrt{x^2+y^2+\left(z-\frac R2\right)^2}. \]Orientation des orbitales
Les deux orbitales \(2p_z\) sont définies par rapport au même axe global \(z\) :
\[ \phi_A=N\left(z+\frac R2\right)e^{-r_A/2}, \qquad \phi_B=N\left(z-\frac R2\right)e^{-r_B/2}, \] \[ N=\frac1{4\sqrt{2\pi}}. \]Action de l’inversion
Sous \(\mathbf r\mapsto-\mathbf r\),
\[ r_A(-\mathbf r)=r_B(\mathbf r), \qquad z+\frac R2\mapsto-\left(z-\frac R2\right). \]Donc
\[ \phi_A(-\mathbf r)=-\phi_B(\mathbf r), \qquad \phi_B(-\mathbf r)=-\phi_A(\mathbf r). \]
\[
\psi_g\propto\phi_A-\phi_B,
\qquad
\psi_u\propto\phi_A+\phi_B.
